We asked an image tool for a photo we could use for an eye care practice. It invented a place that does not exist. So we gave it real photos of our own team and asked again, and it still produced a slit lamp with one viewfinder.
Every version of this ends the same way. Somebody has to walk into the building and press record. This session is about how to do that yourself, in about twenty minutes, with the phone already in your pocket.
Recorded live on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Presented by Ali Powell with Jonna Kieler.

Everything from the back half of the session, expanded into ten pages. The five videos worth filming first, the four setup rules that make a phone look professional, how to trim and caption what you shoot without learning to edit, and a photo and video consent release template to start from.
What the session covers
- What we tested. We gave AI one prompt for an eye care practice, then gave it our own photos and asked again. Both results end in the same place, and we show you why.
- What patients actually respond to. Why a face someone has seen before carries more weight than any image you can generate, and what that has to do with what you charge.
- Five videos you can film this week. Specific, useful ones. Dilation, lens options, the day of surgery, drops, and why your doctor chose this work.
- How to shoot it on a phone. Light, sound, framing, and the mistakes that make footage unusable. It takes about twenty minutes.
- What to do if nobody at your practice wants to be on camera. Because that is the most common objection, and it has an answer.
Who this is for
Owners, administrators, and marketing leads at ophthalmology practices, surgery centers, and other elective healthcare practices. You do not need to be the person holding the camera. You need to know what to ask for and what it is worth.
Would you rather hand it off?
Some practices would rather stay focused on patients. Thirty minutes with Jonna, looking at what you already have, what is worth capturing, and whether a shoot day makes sense for your practice this year. No pitch deck.
