Public Relations
Public Relations activities should precede advertising and, if done right, can significantly increase awareness of and interest in your practice and, more importantly, will act as a multiplier of the value of your advertising. Identifying newsworthy events or accomplishments is key to being able to launch an effective Public Relations Program. Developing connections with media personnel, identifying blogs that can be taken advantage of in your area and locating events that are being planned in your community that offer good lead generation opportunities are some of the major activities. On a monthly basis one of the following will be delivered: • Press Releases – Issue, and follow up for media coverage, Press Releases on such things as a new patient education campaign, new vision correction methods and new procedures or technologies available to improve conditions for future patients. o Includes the writing, approval and placement. Placement includes follow-up calls to the media to ensure media coverage. • Community Events – research, locate and present opportunities in on-going community events – Health Fairs, Sponsorship of Community Activities that are of interest to the community in general and other similar events • Newsletters – Generate more referrals by keeping past patients and active prospects informed about what’s happening in your practice. Includes design and proposed layout of quarterly newsletters. Content provided to the practice, based on surveyed items of interest, for approval and/or content is provided to FAST TRACK for inclusion in the newsletter. Final layout is agreed upon before going to print. Fees: $650/mo for foregoing deliverables.
